Ain't No Grave ~ Bethel Music
See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are ever before me. ~ Isaiah 49:16 NIV
As I was praying for a friend this morning, Holy Spirit
reminded me of the significance of God's putting us in the palms of His hands.
Hands have two primary purposes: carrying and working.
After my children were born, they were placed in my arms.
The palms of my hands supported each girl's weak and fragile head and body.
Don't you think that the God who fashioned us in His image holds and supports
us there, too? And why not? Have you looked at your palms? In their relaxed
state, they are bowl- or cup-shaped, perfectly designed to gently cradle the
things we love and are precious to us.
Your hands are also fashioned for working, molding, and
shaping things. My kids love crafting dough and clay. They enjoy making
beautiful and even silly things. They put a lot of effort into their art,
similarly to how God delicately works to shape our hearts and lives to greater
reflect His.
As we prepare for the celebration of His Resurrection,
take a moment to reflect on how Jesus was hung on the cross. He was held by
nails in His hands. The nails left a lasting mark, forever engraving you—the one
for whom He died—in the palms of His hands. He was bruised, beaten, and nailed
- crucified - to bring us peace, healing, forgiveness, and life everlasting.
The gentlest and most compassionate way Jesus did and does carry and care for
you is in His hands.

God was, is, and always will be everything we will ever need. When we walk with Jesus, we need not worry, for He will always take care of us and will never let us go. He has been with us since before time began and we can remain with Him for eternity in heaven, if we only believe. Thank you, Father, my God. You are my everything.

Watch the Son-Rise
I Speak Jesus ~ Here be Lions
When the earth goes topsy-turvy And nobody knows which
end is up, I nail it all down, I put everything in place again. ~ Psalm 75:3MSG
The world is in chaos.
Your dishes and laundry are piling up.
You're missing work and socializing with your friends.
Your kids are all over the place - OK one minute and
melt-down-city the next.
Virtual school, virtual work, and the virtual world may
lead to early grays or baldness due to stress.
The uncertainty of what you can do, what you'll be able
to afford, and how long will this "new normal" will last are starting
to wear heavily on you.
But there is hope!
A new day is dawning, and the SON is rising!
Just as the world seemed dark and gray on that one Friday
and Saturday, Hope rose on Sunday.
The Son rose and brought with Him light and life.
Do not fret about the world and the dreary circumstances.
Instead, trust in Jesus and watch the Son rise!

No 5 Walking
No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus ~ Steffany Gretzinger
Confess and acknowledge how you have offended one
another and then pray for one another to be instantly healed, for tremendous
power is released through the passionate, heartfelt prayer of a godly believer!
~ James 5:16 TPT
Before it closed, our girls took turns praying on the way
to school. Savannah typically opened with, "Let no one get 5 walking."
At the girls' school, 5 Walking could be issued for a myriad of reasons, from
not turning in homework to talking during a test. 5 Walking meant you walked
the perimeter of the playground for the first five minutes of recess. To a
child who wanted to be with his or her friends, that was a big deal!
After a few months, I asked why Savannah prayed for no 5
Walking. She said it was because she wanted kids to do what was right, kind,
and respectful. To a 7-year-old, the best way to help her classmates was to
pray that they'd make better choices, and thus avoid painful consequences. Who
else needs someone praying like that for them? I know I do.
The great news is that we have it! Jesus is constantly
before Father God, interceding on our behalf, (Hebrews 7:25; Romans 8:34; 1
John 2:1). Though the enemy is continually spewing our faults before the
Throne, Jesus is relentlessly and fervently speaking to Father God in our
defense.
In these days of physical and social distancing, it’s
important to keep our focus on Jesus. The enemy is working overtime to
overwhelm you with anxiety. He’s pouring on condemnation, saddling you with a
sentence. We need to realize that our “5 Walking,” our eternal death sentence, has
been paid in full! As this Easter season approaches, remember that the same
Jesus who died, rose again, and is seated at the right hand of the Father, did
it all for you! Today, reclaim your peace and rest in Jesus, who loves you and
is praying the best for you.
